 BASIC FACILITIES TO SMALL TRADERS

VAT and other tax structures will be simplified to help traders. New policies will be brought to revive whole sale trade. Local streets will be maintained by mohalla sabhas. Rules and regulations for establishing and running industries will be streamlined. The licensing procedure will be simplified. Training will be provided to those who want to set up new industries and loan will be given to them.
To solve the problems of the street vendors, fixed spaces will be allotted and licenses will be given to them by mohalla sabhas.
A unified transport authority will be established to formulate holistic transport policies for all forms of transport like metro, buses, auto, etc. Bus and metro services will be expanded.  High speed railways will reduce traffic congestion. The cost of living will also come down.
Bus service to villages will be improved. Secure and last mile connectivity from bus and metro services will be provided through shared autos, e-rickshaws and rickshaws. Concessional rates will be provided for senior citizens, students and persons with disability.
Multi-storied parking facility will be provided in busy and congested areas. Large number of rickshaw stands will be made. Bank loans will be given for purchasing auto rickshaws. The process will be streamlined.
The harassment of auto rickshaw drivers by police will be prevented. Auto rickshaw fares will be revised. Waiting charges will be introduced.
WORK DONE IN DELHI REGARDING PROVIDING BASIC FACILITIES TO ORDINARY TRADER

Kejriwal conducted several meetings with traders to discuss topics of trade and VAT. Many points were discussed on how to simplify trade in Delhi. They also planned to make some bold experiments in Delhi as far as taxation is concerned. Permits were issued to auto rickshaw drivers.
